Rules

NO ONE IS ABOVE THE RULES. IF ANYONE BREAKS THESE RULES, THEY ARE AUTOMATICALLY BLACKLISTED AND WILL NOT BE ABLE TO REQUEST FROM US OR WORK WITH US IN THE FUTURE. UNLESS YOUR WEBMISTRESS IS FEELING NICE ENOUGH ON THE SITE'S ANNIVERSARY, THE BLACKLIST WILL BE PERMANENT.

1. Allow us a minimum of 1 week and a maximum of 4 weeks. Don't spam the cbox asking 'When is (insert request here) going to be done?' We have lives outside of the internet. Should the request be delayed beyond 4 weeks, email the webmistress and co-webmistress and we will see what's taking so long. If the assigned designer doesn't respond, the poster will be given to someone else.

2. Don't request from us, then request from another site & vise versa (this includes winglin, soompi, another blog, etc.).

3. Don't modify/make alterations to our work.

4. You must use the poster & background. Don't request for a background if you're not going to use it.

5. If you don't like something about the request, email me (your webmistress) and I (or whoever did the request) will make the necessary changes.

6. Don't request from us if you already have a poster from another site, or if you're just going to make one yourself.

7. If you have a poster on your story that you made yourself, DELETE IT AND THE BACKGROUND AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. IT'S EASY TO ASSUME THAT IT MAY HAVE BEEN MADE BY SOMEONE ELSE OTHER THAN YOU IF YOU USE MORE THAN ONE PSEUDONYM.
ex. of one author: YoungJi, JaeYoung, YoungJae, Ace, ♦♣ace♠♥,αcε

8. Don't disrespect the reviewer if you get a less than stellar review, and don't disrespect the graphic designer if the poster wasn't completely to your liking.

9. Save your poster & background/review on your own computer. If the designer or reviewer decides to delete it for whatever reason, we will not be held responsible.

10.
We'd appreciate it if you gave us credit in your story. i.e 'Thank you (insert name of artist written on poster) from Novice In Tomboyism for the poster &/or background.'
*cough* by 'we'd appreciate', we mean 'you better'*cough*

11. For layouts, do not change the credits to make it look like you did all the work. You must leave the link to our site in the credits.

12.  Don't change the html or css codes. You will mess up unless you're studying web design at the college level. Unlike other sites, we do not use Classic templates which are easy to steal and alter to one's liking, so we'll know if you or someone else uses our layouts without permission.

13. Keep a copy of the original layout code saved on your own computer. The beta layout codes are very difficult to change without messing something up, so if you do something to mess up your site, that's your fault, and we will not provide the original layout for you a second time.

For staff

14. Reply as soon as you get an email from your webmistress.

15. Do not hesitate to tell your webmistress if you need to go on hiatus (IMMEDIATELY!).

16. I understand that we all have busy lives, but that's no excuse to not do your request for 4+ weeks. Try to get your request done as soon as you are able. No one should have to pick up another person's slack.

17. If you're not comfortable with the subject matter/mood of the poster, try your best. The goal is to learn versatility.

18. For all reviews: be honest.

Do not:
a) say 'I love it!' just because it has your favorite celebrities.
b) say 'You suck as a writer!' or anything rude for any reason (this includes profane language).
c) let your bias (for the celebrities or the author) cloud your judgment. No matter how much you like the celebrities/author, if there are flaws you must point them out.

Do:
a) give sound reasoning for your score (explain why they received the score and how to improve).
b) provide spelling/grammar correction when needed.
c) read & reread if necessary in case there are flaws that slipped your radar.

19. For all graphic artists: put your name, the site's name, & URL on your poster (and make sure it's big enough to be seen without a magnifying glass. everyone doesn't have 20/20 vision).

20. For graphic designers: you have a maximum of 4 weeks allowed to complete a poster (4 weeks is the longest I'll allow). If you take longer than this and don't have a good excuse (I'll accept: school/home/technological issues.), you will be fired without warning and be blacklisted.

21. Reviewers have a maximum of 4-8 weeks to read a story and write a review. I will provide the rubric you must follow when I email you.

Whew... That enough rules for ya? There you go 21 rules in plain English. None of it's cryptic and written in a dead language, so the only excuse you should have for not following any of these rules are that you do not understand English (in that case why are you requesting from an English speaking site o_O)
